About Our Distinguished Founder
Master Peter Hewitt, founder of Master Hewitt Martial Arts formerly Taekwondo Knights, is a 7th Degree in Tae Kwon Do and also 1st Degree in Kenjustu “Art of the Sword”.
He has won a number of titles in tournaments including:
- World championships
- 2 Hall of fame awards as an instructor
His previous students have also been awarded Hall of Fame awards. One of them won the Wiltshire Young Sports Personality of the Year.
His students over the years have won many titles in tournaments including winning world championships.
Master Hewitt is a qualified:
- Black belts grading examiner
- Coloured belt grading examiner
- Competition referee
- Competition umpire
- Qualified and registered Instructor through the TCUK
- Sports coach
- Running martial art seminars
- Running squad sessions
Master Hewitt, is committed to preserving the Chang Hon Pattern system of Taekwondo. He will not just teach you want you need to learn to attain your belts. He will explain the application behind the moves, so students have a better understanding of why they are doing what they are doing, and why it is so effective.
